Welcome to my website.
My name is Claudia Kramer.I have been a practicing psychotherapist and psychoanalyst in London for the past 30 years. I am committed to providing psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment.
I have practice in the NHS for over 20 years and I have worked within a range of clinical settings, psychiatric, psychotherapy deptarments and general services. I have worked with adults, young adults and the third age.
I have helped people with a wide range of difficulties.
I work with individuals of all ages on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.
I can help those who have experienced difficulties with :
Stress, everyday life should not equal stressful situations especially at work, trying to cope with complicated members of staff.
Relationships, to explore patterns of behavior, why sometimes we find ourselves in the same relationship again and again and/or why we cannot maintain relationship or we let others go from our life.
Panic Attacks, fear of something which needs to be discover, what is it that it is so frightening? Needs to be answered.
Anxiety, you might not know why you feel anxious, it might not have a specific name but it is just there, interfering in your like.
Bereavement, we all have suffered bereavement, sometimes we feel totally isolated and misunderstood. How difficult it is carry on living after a bereavement.
Redundancy, in our times almost everybody has suffered redundancy, it is another type of bereavement, but most of the time we have lost our self-respect.
Depression, everybody can suffer from depression as a result of long standing difficulties and current ones
Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, we react and deal with traumatic experiences in different way, we might be able to delete them but we need to explore how those experience interfere in our everyday life.
Work problems, to explore how to deal with bullies, with our self-esteem and how to deal with complicated colleagues.
Social Difficulties, sometimes we find ourselves feeling like outsiders and not belogning, to explore what are the issues which stop us communicating with other and with ourselves.
Physical illness and its impact in your life, it is most important to look at ourselves and how we change and cope ( or not) after an illness which we were not expecting in our life.
I have two practices. One is in North London which covers Finchley, Barnet, Potters Bar, Muswell Hill, Hamspead Garden Suburb, Mill Hill, Enfield, Edgware. There is no restrictive parking and easy to reach by public transport. I have a second practice which is in London Bridge, very near the City of London, which covers Southhall, Waterloo, Bank, Moorgate, Angel, Old Street, Borough and East London with easy access by train, underground and buses.
